SSG (Scar, Swain, Gangplank) revolves around the trifecta augment but can also be played without it. Best played from a win streak as both Gangplank and Swain fall off late, yet Jayce, Garen, Elise, and Scar save the late game. Gangplank items are crucial but Swain has a lot of different options. If you have no Sunfire Cape, go for anti-heal on Swain. Scar is also simple as he can play with most of the tank items, yet functions better with healing tank items rather than damage tank items (don't be afraid to slam items except Gangplank).
Do not level early unless you have a good opener like Family with Draven or Darius 2-star and good items. Keeping your gold for level 6, 7, and 8 is better as the difference between 2-star SSG and 3-star SSG is huge but do not bleed out too much in the early game.
6 Warden > 4 Shapeshifter
Level 10 or Level 9 with any Tactician's item fits in 6 Wardens and 4 Shapeshifters.
If you have the "Why Not Both?" augment, play 4 Warden with 2 Gangplanks and 2 Swains (1 frontline and 1 backline each).
