Quickstriker Reroll (Akali / Nocturne)

Play if you have a Glove opener or if Akali or Nocturne drops on neutrals—guaranteed Top 4 if uncontested. Stabilize off of a 2-star Akali with Jeweled Gauntlet/Hand of Justice as soon as possible. The third item is important later, but a 2-star Akali with JG/HoJ easily streaks Stage 3. You can look for a win streak in Stage 2 if you hit JG + healing and Akali in the opener. Akali wants HoJ + JG + 1 (the 1 can be a second HoJ, healing (Bloodthirster), or Rabadon's Deathcap; all are good depending on which augments and items you hit). Early Bloodthirster slam is good, move towards Nocturne/Ambessa later. If you 3-star Nocturne, he serves as your secondary carry. If you don't, itemize Ambessa. Either way, slam AD items like Titan's Resolve, Bloodthirster, and Edge of Night. Anti-heal and shred can go on the backline (Morellonomicon/Shiv) or frontline (Sunfire Cape/Spark). Akali and Magic shred should be on the same side. Rebel Spatula is great on Nocturne or Ambessa; aim for 5 Rebel with Irelia & Illaoi +1 (can be Sett, Zoe, or Jinx). You can cap the board with 5 Rebel even without Spatula if you 3-star Akali or Nocturne early and push levels (see late-game board below). Augments: Adrenaline Burst is amazing, especially with an itemized Ambessa. Quickstriker Crest is bait; you can drop Twisted Fate, but he is a good Morello/Shiv applier and you don't gain much from the board space. Rebel Crest is great. Any team combat augment is also good, e.g., Pumping Up / Bulky Buddies / Superstars. Support and Artifact augments are good too. Anomaly: Bully / Comeback Story on Akali, depending on current HP, lobby HP, and whether other players are playing Rebel comps too. Into the Unknown is fun, but sub-par. Items: You can use AD & AP items; the highest priority component is Gloves for JG and HoJ. Make anti-heal/Shred items depending on what you have: many rods -> Rabadon's Deathcap & Morellonomicon. Many chains? Titan's Resolve, Edge of Night, and Sunfire Cape. Etc. Artifacts / Support Items: Randuin's Omen is amazing, especially with Immovable Object. Makes Akali & Nocturne tankier, so they aren't bursted and provides amazing value for frontline. Zhonya's Hourglass is good on Akali (HoJ + JG + Zhonya's). Death's Dance is good on Nocturne / Ambessa. Trenchcoat is amazing on Ambessa when combined with Bloodthirster. Hullcrusher/Spectral Cutlass are both okay. Rapid Firecannon/Fishbones are good on Nocturne.
