The placement is as follows, and for Kalista, create items such as Guinsoo's Rageblade and Red Buff, or create items like Bloodthirster and Titan's Resolve for your Bruisers to manage health and build up.
Augments - You need to reach level 9 for your deck to be complete, so aim for money or experience-related augments for your first choice.
It's preferable to have 2 combat augments, but at least try to secure 1!
Kalista (Guinsoo's Rageblade, Red Buff Spirit, Whisper of the Last)
You need to give items to either Camille or Briar first who is going to be the first to 2-star (Bruiser AD items like Bloodthirster, Sterak's Gage, Titan's Resolve)
You need to give items to either Diana or Morgana first who is going to be the first to 2-star (Bruiser AP items like Bloodthirster, Jeweled Gauntlet, Crown Guard)
For the remaining items, prioritize them on your 5-cost units that have not been equipped with items. If you are low on items in a game, Thief's Gloves can be a good choice too!
Early game (level 5) - Jax / Akali / Shen / Nilah / Ashe
Mid game (level 8) - Jax / Akali / Shen / Fiora / Gwen / Nilah / Zilean / Ashe
Late game (level 9) - Briar / Diana / Fiora / Nasus / Morgana / Gwen / Camille / Ashe / Kalista (Level 10: Rakan / If there are more slots: Milio)
